Trouble in the Ark / by Gerald Rose
Wilton CT: Morehouse Publishing, c1985
Unpaged: col. ill.
Miserable weather and crowded conditions have resulted in shortened tempers. Trouble in the Ark erupts as fly buzzes mouse and sets smoldering tempers ablaze with each animal separately, in turn, verbally accosting a fellow inhabitant. A flashfire ruckus ensues, eventually extinguished as the dove arrives with the olive twig, and Noah joins in with a resounding “yahoo” and “yippee.” The animals happily depart, leaving Mr. and Mrs. Noah in their coveted peace and quiet. . .until two pesky flies make a return visit.
